District 12 AA Functions
The
District 12 Function
committee hosts dinners,
workshops and other such activities for the district.
Examples of
functions that the committee puts on are the Spring ,Fall and New Years
Eve dances, the annual Alcathon, and Summer outing. The
committee
also provides refreshments and facility management for workshops and
other events that are sponsored by the district.
Putting
on a function
entails a lot of work and planning. "Many hands
make light
work". Any AA can join the function committee and help to
make
our events a success. This is a great way to do Step 12 work,
to
get active, and expand your circle of AA friends.
